復興のはじめの一歩となる、
インタラクティブな展覧会

2024年元旦に発生した能登半島地方を震源とするマグニチュード 7.6の大地震は、人々の「当たり前の暮らし」を揺るがし、日々の糧である仕事を奪い、伝統工芸へも危機をもたらしました。時間がたつにつれ被災地への関心が薄れていく中、現在も街には地震の深い爪痕がいたる所に残されたままです。この現状で誰もが満足する「正解」を目指すのではなく、様々な意見をもとに復興の第一歩を進めたいという一人の被災者の方の話から、本展の開催が決定しました。

本展は、学生や職人、また行政やデザインなどそれぞれの立場から能登を見つめる関係者を組み合わせた、他では実現困難な特別座談会を複数回にわたって開催します。会場内に設けたブースから発信される内容はYouTubeにアーカイブ保存し公開、会場ではグラフィックレコーディングとして紹介。会場とオンラインで双方で交流するインタラクティブな展覧会です。

持続可能な未来を創るには、当事者の目線にたったさまざまな視点をベースにする新しい集合知が不可欠です。能登半島地震を悲劇で終わらせないため、職業のジャンルや地域性などあらゆる境界線を飛び越える展覧会に, ぜひご参加ください。

From "Someone Else's Issue" to "Our Own Matter"
An interactive exhibition marking the beginning of reconstruction

Exhibition Overview

The magnitude 7.6 earthquake that struck the Noto Peninsula on New Year's Day 2024 shook people's "ordinary lives," deprived them of their livelihoods, and brought crisis to traditional crafts. As time passes, interest in the affected areas fades, yet the scars of the earthquake remain visible throughout the city. In light of this reality, the decision to hold this exhibition was made, not to pursue a "correct answer" that satisfies everyone, but to take the first step towards reconstruction based on various opinions, inspired by the story of one survivor.

This exhibition will host several special panel discussions, which combine perspectives from students, artisans, administrations, and design professionals, offering insights into Noto from various standpoints, which would be challenging to achieve elsewhere. The content disseminated from the booths set up within the venue will be live-streamed and archived online, while also being presented as graphic recordings at the venue. It's an interactive exhibition fostering exchange both onsite and online.

To create a sustainable future, it's essential to build a new collective intelligence based on diverse perspectives from stakeholders.To prevent the Noto Peninsula Earthquake from becoming a tragedy, we invite you to participate in this exhibition that transcends boundaries such as professional genres and regional differences.

特別座談会

特別座談会では、学生や職人、また行政やデザインに携わる人々などを様々な年代、国籍、業種を超えたスピーカーたちを招き、未来を創る復興のあり方や持続可能な地域経済、そして伝統工芸の未来を構築するビジョンや、それぞれの気付きや想い、疑問や提案を共有・発信します。座談会はアーカイブ化され、会場でグラフィックレコーディングとして紹介します。本質をつく疑問や前向きなヒントがたくさん詰まったトークは、未来を考える上で新鮮な気づきを与えてくれるはずです。

Special Panel Discussions

In the special panel discussions, we will invite speakers from various ages, nationalities, and industries, including students, artisans, government officials, and designers. They will share and disseminate visions for recovery, sustainable regional economies, and the future of traditional crafts, as well as their insights, thoughts, questions, and proposals. The discussions will be archived and introduced as graphic recordings at the venue. The talks, filled with fundamental questions and positive hints, are sure to provide fresh insights for thinking about the future.

登壇者：

株式会社百笑の暮らし代表取締役
TVプロデューサー、株式会社Days代表取締役、一般社団法人FUKKO DESIGN代表理事
公益財団法人日本デザイン振興会常務理事。
1991年に現職の財団に転職後、グッドデザイン賞をはじめ、東京ミッドタウン・デザインハブ、東京ビジネスデザインアワード、地域デザイン支援など多数のデザインプロモーション業務を担当。
武蔵野美術大学、東京都立大学大学院、九州大学大学院、東海大学で非常勤講師。毎日デザイン賞調査委員。マガジンハウス『コロカル』で「準公共」を、月刊誌『事業構想』で地域デザインやビジネスデザインを、月刊誌『先端教育』で教育をテーマに連載を執筆。『自遊人』ではソーシャルデザインについて46,000字を寄稿。
2023年4月に大阪中之島美術館で開催した展覧会「デザインに恋したアート♡アートに嫉妬したデザイン」の原案・共同企画。

World Agricultural Heritage and Community

What the Connection Between People and Nature Can Do for the Future of Noto

Speakers:

Representative Director of Hyakusho no Kurashi Co., Ltd.
TV Producer, Representative Director of Days Co., Ltd., Representative Director of FUKKO DESIGN General Incorporated Association
Executive Director of the Japan Institute of Design Promotion.
After joining the current foundation in 1991, he has been in charge of numerous design promotion activities including the Good Design Award, Tokyo Midtown Design Hub, Tokyo Business Design Award, and regional design support.
He serves as a part-time lecturer at Musashino Art University, Tokyo Metropolitan University Graduate School, Kyushu University Graduate School, and Tokai University. He is also a research committee member for the Mainichi Design Award. He writes serial articles on quasi-public concepts for Magazine House's "Kolocal", on regional and business design for the monthly "Business Concept", and on education for the monthly "Advanced Education". He has contributed 46,000 characters on social design for "Jiyujin".
In April 2023, he co-planned and provided the original concept for the exhibition "Art in Love with Design ♥ Design Jealous of Art" held at the Osaka Nakanoshima Museum of Art.

「GOOD DESIGN STORE TOKYO by NOHARA」にてポップアップ・ショップを同時開催。本展の開催期間中に登場するポップアップ・ショップでは、輪島塗の作品をはじめ、現在進行中のプロジェクトで制作された漆芸や金継ぎの作品など、多種多様なアイテムを展開します。実際に手にとり、日常生活に取り入れることで工芸の素晴らしさを体験できます。

A pop-up shop will be held simultaneously at "GOOD DESIGN STORE TOKYO by NOHARA" during the exhibition period. The pop-up shop will feature a wide variety of items including works of Wajima lacquer, as well as lacquer art and Kintsugi pieces created for current ongoing projects. You can experience the wonders of crafts firsthand by physically handling these items and incorporating them into your daily life.
